Aimee Kaye

Hi, my name is Aimee, and I wanted to take a few minutes to share my experience with the WarriorBabe program. For reference, I'm 51 years old, perimenopausal, and I have two adult children in their twenties. I work as a medical coder for a local cardiovascular group. So every day I see the results of a life lived with poor nutrition. Historically, I would say I've been very lucky. I have never had what would be considered a weight problem. I focused primarily on keeping my weight in a certain range. And I did that mainly through dieting and calorie restriction. I don't think I could count how many diets I've tried. And as I got older, I found it harder and harder to stay in that range that I liked. So I ended up turning to intermittent fasting, and that quickly turned into fasting longer periods of time, sometimes two or three days. I know. I had somehow been convinced that this was healthy for me. But now I'm convinced that that was the reason why I couldn't lose a pound if I cut my arm off. And I was keeping myself around 1,200 calories a day, That was probably about a year ago. As far as fitness goes, I never really worked out until probably eight or nine years ago. I started doing Tracy Anderson Method, and I did that five or six days a week for eight years. I liked it. But then, again, as I got older, I found I wasn't getting the results that I had gotten in the past. And my joints were also not very happy with me doing those workouts anymore. So I started looking around and I found WarriorBabe. And I was instantly fascinated because it was the first time that I had really seen a program that incorporated fitness and nutrition that complemented each other to get the results that you wanted, whatever your goal was at the time. And since I started WarriorBabe, it's changed my relationship with food, and my view on weight loss versus fat loss. I found that I was able to lose fat and inches and gain a lot of muscle. And yet the number on the scale might stay about the same, even though I looked completely different. So that was kind of a mind blowing moment right there. I honestly don't think I've ever felt more empowered through a program. They give you all the tools that you need to achieve your current goal, whatever that might be. I started out wanting to lose some fat. So I did that. And now with the colder weather coming, and the holidays, I thought this might be a good opportunity to try a six or seven month build. So right now I'm eating almost 2,400 calories a day, which is about two times what I was eating a year ago. And I'm feeling very strong with my workouts. I'm sleeping well. And really, I just can't imagine my life without WarriorBabe. As corny as that sounds, it's the truth. It's not a diet. In fact, if you're tired of dieting, or you hate dieting, and you do, it's okay, you can say it, we all do. It's fine. But if you hate dieting, you would probably love WarriorBabe. I tell everyone I know about it. And seriously, with all of the training modules, and the macro tools, everything is right there. There's different workouts, tailored to whatever your goals are, Zoom calls multiple times a week for any questions you might have. The Facebook group is constantly supporting and cheering you on. There's no reason that you couldn't be successful at this. It's honestly, just, WarriorBabe is all about women helping women take control of their health, and fitness, and losing fat, and gaining muscle and confidence, and having fun all at the same time. So just so that we can all be our best selves.
