Amy Kenison
Hi, I'm Amy, I'm 37 years old. I've been married for six years, and I have a 13 year old stepdaughter. I am a juvenile probation officer. I've been doing that work for about six years now. Absolutely love it. When did my fitness journey start? Well, I can tell you exactly when it ended. Right after college when I was done playing sports, I was tired of practices and putting in all that work. I just stopped. I didn't want to do it no more. I probably stopped working out and didn't do any workouts for a good five years, I didn't do nothing. Luckily, my metabolism was still pretty high, and I could eat whatever I wanted, so I didn't feel like I was really out of shape. I was skinny, but that's not being in shape, and I had to come to reality with that. But now that I'm in my 30's, late 30's, I needed to figure something out, and so I did some research, and I came across Warrior Babe, and when I started watching the videos, and I saw Nikkiey, I was hooked. She sold me. I was, just blown away by her physique, her attitude, I loved it all, and I wanted to be a part of it. I was really excited to get started, and I jumped right in. I had no idea what macros were. Prior to this, you know, I've tried Crossfit and a few different diets, paleo and intermittent fasting, and plant-based, that was a trend for a little while, but you know what those things have in common is that you can't sustain them forever. I knew that wasn't going to work out, and so when I came across Warrior Babe, and I learned more about what macros were, that was something that I could get behind, and it has changed my life. Macros was this scary thing looming in the corner, and when I watched the videos, I picked macros up literally within two, three days. I knew what I was doing. I could navigate through My FitnessPal, which makes it all super super easy, and scanned a whole bunch of my food away. I scanned it, and it told me exactly how much of it I could have that was in the portion size, and I think that really is the game changer to this program, is the nutritional side of it all. The workouts, don't get me wrong, I love them. They're challenging, but not so challenging to the point you want to quit. Also a great part of this program is the Facebook Warrior Babe group. I love those ladies. They are just always there to give you that little bit of push when you need it. I love receiving that, and I love being able to give that. And being a part of that group has really made me feel more comfortable in my skin, accepting me for who I am, we are our worst critics ladies. And Warrior Babe is here to free you of that. I am just as excited about Warrior Babe as I was the day I started. It's been three months. This is definitely not anything that I'm going to quit anytime soon. I see myself doing this for many many many years, and it is an investment in myself that I feel is money well spent and priceless at the same time. So I know that if you give Warrior Babe a try, you will not be disappointed.
