Catherine Keas
Hello everyone, my name is Catherine Keas, I am 30 years old with three beautiful babies, six, four, and two, and I have been on my fitness journey for years, I was an athlete in high school and then got out of high school and kind of maybe fell off for a little bit and would hit the gym every once in a while, and jump on this fad diet or this fad diet, here or there, and I just was never seeing the results that I was looking for, before I joined WarriorBabe, I had done the Beachbody programs for the last six years, right before I started WarriorBabe, I was doing a program called Optavia, and although I loved Beachbody, I just never felt like I was getting the physique I was looking for, I was wanting more muscle definition and I just wasn't getting that. I wasn't getting that like, you know, you have your like your picture and you're like, this is what I wanna look like, and I was just never reaching those goals. And so after my third baby, I was new, I was an under eater, I've always been an under eater, I'm a stress not eater just because my stomach doesn't handle it well, and so I decided to join Optavia, and, I just wanted that discipline of like eating six meals a day while I was nursing, and with that, I just felt like a failure because I was still hungry all the time because you'd do three what's called fillings and then do lean and greens, and I just didn't like limiting myself to only three lean and greens a day with three minimal, tiny little snacks. And so that's when I started doing some research, I had heard macros being thrown around, and I found WarriorBabe. I wanted a program that would help keep me accountable, but I also didn't wanna cut out main food groups. At first I was hesitant because of the price, but when I added up all the other programs and quick fixes, and all this stuff that I was trying to do, I realized that this was gonna save me money in the long run. Just reading the testimonials and seeing results, I knew this was something I wanted to do since starting WarriorBabe, in February of 2020, the results I've seen in my body physically, mentally and internally have been amazing. I don't stress anymore on being ashamed because I eat a donut, I just go into my fitness pal, put it in, change my macros for the day and work around that. Having three kids can be really challenging because they're always wanting a snack, and mommy, I'm hungry, mommy, I want this, and so I just do better at making sure that I portion out my snacks, if I am gonna have goldfish with them, I portion it out and track it, or I just make sure that I have my snacks that I know are more easy to match my macros with me. I honestly have never been a part of a group, a Facebook group, like WarriorBabes where there's like literally no judgment. I posted so many questions from breast surgery to macro counting, to failing daily, and the support I feel is just amazing, I never feel judged. I've only managed to make a few of the blueprint calls, having three children sometimes can make that difficult, but the few I've listened to, I honestly has answered so many questions that I had and didn't really know how to phrase, though, through this lifestyle change, I will say I haven't been a 100% every day and some days and some weeks honestly maybe even less than 50, but I really love it because it's one of those programs it's easily picked back up, and honestly, it's never a fault of the program it's always on me. It's just my lack of prepping for the week, or being motivated that day, there are so many different diets programs and quick fix messages out there, and I truly feel that women, especially get sucked into those easily because we do want quick fixes, because we want to see results. I will say since starting WarriorBabe in February, I haven't looked at the scale much because I've actually gained two pounds, but I've learned through Nikkiey's modules and the posts and the calls and the teachings and just everybody else that's in the group, that weight is just a number, and that's exactly what it is it's just number. When I put my clothes on, when I can put my pre pregnancy clothes on and they're not tight and they're feeling good, and I look in the mirror and I feel confident because I feel better, that's what I love to look at. And then also taking the pictures and the measurements like they suggest is a big one, because I look back at pictures from February to today and I'm like, wow, I really have changed a lot. Sometimes it's hard in the day to day to see that. So, I always like to say like Rome wasn't built in a day, so we can't expect a quick fix, why would we have that standard for our body? If we have that stan, you know, it takes time, it takes discipline, it takes, you know, figuring your macros out and adjusting them for, you know, whatever's going on for your workout intensity, for, you know, just different things like that, it takes time and discipline. If you're just starting out my encouragement to you is don't give up, keep working the program, get on the calls, talk to the coaches, post on the Facebook group, and I promise results will come, thank you guys.
