Christine Sebastian

Hi, I'm Christine Sebastian. I will be 47 this year in December. I have two kids, I have almost three year old daughter and a 12 year old son and I did need that break in between, but I didn't know I needed it. So it wasn't planned. Anyways, prior to WarriorBabe, I was definitely sporty and a dancer starting around seven years old and up until college is when I stopped really doing any sports or doing any dancing, got more interested in partying and guys and whatnot. And then when I got married, it was just more of my yo-yo from there, but I tried a lot of things. I did low carb, no carb, I did keto, I did paleo. I did beach body, I did a candida regiment. I did lose weight on a lot of the things that I did after I had my kids, especially beach body, but I just couldn't keep the weight off. I mean, I couldn't keep the weight off. And basically I got an all time high last year. During the pandemic, I was about eight pounds shy of the heaviest weight that I had been when I was pregnant with my daughter. And I thought, man, this is not good. I need to really change this up because I'm gonna get sick. And I didn't like how I looked and I didn't like how I felt. And so I tapped my cousins who were bodybuilders and trainers to help me lose the weight and to get fit again and they did definitely help me. I did lose the weight, and it was 35 pounds, but it was torture in many ways because it was keto and without dairy for about nine months. So once I lost the 35 pounds, I tried to go on my own and do nuMe, which was terrible. It was too loose for me personally. I needed more structure. And so maybe a couple months later I found WarriorBabe while I was scrolling on social media. And I'm so glad that I found it. At first, I was hesitant to join because I was like this just seems too good to be true. How's this possible, like eat what you enjoy, eat what you like, but still get your gains, but once I got all the information, once I got all the tools necessary to continue my fitness journey, I was in shock. I was like, wow, this is like a college course in a good way, because it was just so much information to help me not just in my current goal, but to also grow in my fitness, and get stronger and get bigger. And when I joined, I was a total noob to doing macros. People had talked about it to me before, but just seemed intimidating and scary, but now I love it. I don't think I'll ever go back to counting calories because I love video games. I like to say that it's like Tetris for your food. You're trying to fit everything in and these blocks and whatnot and that's just kinda how my brain works. But anyways, I enjoy it, I love it. The community of support at WarriorBabe is amazing. My accountability partner is amazing. There's just so much positivity. I don't think I've ever been part of a group of women outside of my church group that have been this positive and this supportive. We definitely call each other out, but to help each other to get better. So I have definitely seen my body change and the more changes I see come with more... The more consistent I am. So if you're thinking about doing it, do it, but also expect to put in the work. And if you don't put in the work, then you're not gonna see the results, but we will cheer you on when you get here. So come on and join us, you won't regret it.
