Kristen Vega
Hi, my name is Kristin Vega. I have four children and I work as a nurse practitioner, and I decided that I wanted to try to give the WarriorBabe VIP program a try after many years, many failed attempts, at other weight loss, fad type diets, keto, fasting, Weight Watchers. I was successful with all of them, but not for long, and it never stayed off. I think the key was is that I really never learned how... learned how to decrease my food or change it, but I never really learned what macronutrients that I needed and to incorporate weightlifting with that. I've always been a runner and I would use that as forms of weight loss as well to just pick up the cardio. But I have just found that as I've gotten older, I'm 43 now and after four children, and a full-time job, it's very challenging. So, I decided after all those failed attempts, I saw the advertisement for WarriorBabe VIP, so I thought, well, I'll give it a try. So... I was pretty hesitant in the beginning 'cause I thought it'd be just like everything else. I was concerned about the cost and concerned about the commitment. But what I realized is that I needed that accountability and I have definitely found it in the VIP program. My coach is amazing. She's always there to answer questions and clarify things for me. I've learned how to track my foods, how to weigh them out, how to measure them, and to be accountable for with what I'm eating. And I've also learned a whole bunch of new exercises and things like that that really are making me stronger and I feel healthier. I was hesitant to continue the program, but I feel like I've seen such amazing changes in my body and I feel so much better. I'm sleeping better. I feel healthier. So, I decided to renew. And so now I've been with the program going on a year. Oh, I just renewed my second time and I'm just, you know, I'm very happy with it. I'm very thankful for the support that I receive there. The amount of accountability is great because it really holds me to it. And I've found that... you know, I have my coach to rely on, I have my group that she also coaches other people, so other people in the group, you know, accountable to them, and I can lean on them for their support and suggestions. So, it's just an overwhelmingly, overall just great program. And I'm very thankful to have found it and to be involved in it. So far, I think I've lost about 10 or 12 pounds, but the amount of muscle I've gained, is huge. I had never really lifted weights before this program. I've always been a cardio person, doing running or other forms of cardio. And so this one has really helped me to learn how to do more weightlifting and incorporate that into what I need to do to be healthier. So, I'm overall very happy with the program. Glad to take this plunge and jump in it feet first, both feet first. So it's been a great... it's been a great experience and I'm thankful for all that I'm learning. So, give it a try.
