Hi. I'm Kristy.

I'm forty seven.

I live in Charlotte, North Carolina, and I have twin fourteen year olds that are in their first year of high school.

And I also have some step kids that are nineteen, twenty three, and twenty four. So needless to say, my husband and I have a very busy life. Lots of sporting events, lots of weekend travel for, tournaments, and, I also have a full time job. And I'm a CPA and work in a large nonprofit.

Fortunately, I get to work from home, which really helps me on this journey and kind of balancing the life that I live.

But I also have my mother living with me. She's seventy five, and I have been caring for her since, the kids were born. So almost fourteen years now. They're almost fifteen, actually.

So, I got into this, fitness program, nutrition program. I really, you know, have been spent spent the last probably, you know, really since COVID kind of noticing changes in my body. And it wasn't just because of COVID because I had already been, you know, kind of active in yoga and walking and just a very busy life, but I, you know, as you get into COVID, kind of things slowed down a lot. So I was trying to find new options for staying in shape, and I've kind of I've never really battled, kind of staying steady in my weight. I would go up for for the pregnancy, and then I came back down and kind of always stayed pretty level. But then in my forties, I realized, like, things were changing, and what was working for me before wasn't working anymore.

And so I tried, intermittent fasting. I tried, I actually tried doing some macros and figuring, like, trying to get up to the protein, but never really could figure out how to do it on my own and really didn't know what I needed for myself. So, like, what numbers I needed to be hitting to maintain the work that I was putting in. So, gosh. I've tried other, programs that are out there and really was just trying to do it on my own and not finding the right thing that worked for me. And so when I saw this program, I thought, you know, I really need somebody to take me to the next level to help me understand my individual, you know, body and the needs that I have.

You know, what macro should I be hitting? How much should I be working out? How much shouldn't I be working out? I kept hearing, you know, over your forties, you needed to be strength training, strength training, strength training. So I was trying that, but I would get in these classes and I was overworking my body and getting, you know, more stressed, probably not sleeping as well. And so I really just needed, someone to come alongside of me and help me figure out the right balance of all of those things, and that's exactly what this program has been doing for me.

I can't say enough good things about the changes that I'm seeing, the way that I'm feeling, like, how strong I feel. I've even tripled in some of my weight since I started the program.

I, you know, I look in the mirror and I can see the physical changes in and I'm I'm actually only eleven weeks in, and I'm already seeing these changes. So not change I'm not focused on the scale. My numbers on the scale haven't really changed.

My, my measurements haven't really changed, but I can see physical differences in my progress photos, and I can tell that I'm losing body fat and gaining muscle. And that's exactly what I wanted to do and just to get a handle on, keeping my weight, you know, steady, really, because knowing that I'm going into menopause and then post menopause, I know that it's only gonna get more confusing as to what my body's doing and what my body needs.

So I've increased my rest.

I have, increased my calories by almost eight hundred calories a day to stay in maintenance. I'm getting to eat more.

I'm learning how to do it, how to balance the protein throughout the day, how to stay consistent, and I'm sleeping great.

And I'm finding that I have the energy to keep, you know, powering through every single day. So for me, being consistent and just trusting the process and trusting my coach who has been fabulous in listening to my needs, keeping me into the types of exercises that I like to do, you know, and then helping me know how to work through the weekends when I'm at tournaments and, just figuring out how to make it all work, and and it is. So thank you, warrior babe, and I hope this testimony helps somebody.
